Webpage Update: Quite a few updates have been made to the site today. All 3 venue rosters have been updated, and those members who had pics taken who are no longer active or with us are now posted in the Gallery. The House page has also had a few minor updates and the Events page is in the process of major revison. Look forward to an even easier way of planning and finding out about scheduled events in the near future. A reminder, if you want your secondaries listed, please email myself, or one of the preceptors.

Meeting Log Posted: An excerpt from last nights council meeting concerning the selection of the next HGM is now available. Its a bit lengthy but a good read if you what to know what your knights think is important in our next leader. We were also very thrilled by a suprise visit from long esteemed knight and former Herald, Sir Daedin. Good to see her about and kicking! Lastly it was unanimously agreed that His Grace will carry the reverant title of Holy Master henceforth.

Council News: Your Knights of the HCD met this evening to discuss the future leadership of the Holy Cross Defenders. Many well spoken words were said on what characteristics the next Holy Grand Master should embody. A text version of what was said will be made available shortly. Sir Marco Valentino will announce the next HGM in the coming days on the message board. Everyone's input has been highly valued and seriously considered. If you have any further thoughts be sure to contact Marco as soon as possible. May the light of the Cross make clear the future path of leadership.

Important Anouncement: At this month's guildwide meeting, our Holy Grand Master, Lord Athelstan, decreed that for personal reasons he must step down at this time as HGM. Sir Marco Valentino was named Regent until a new HGM is chosen. He urges ALL Defenders to email your imput at marcoval@qwest.net. History is being made, and every voice counts.

Knight's Council Reminder: Sunday is a Very important council meeting. Every knight is required to attend to help decide the next HGM. Meeting starts at 10pm CDT, and will carry on late so come when you can. See you there.

News from Guildwide: The monthly Guildwide Meeting was held Thursday. A copy of the transcript is available for those who missed it.

Some tidbits: possible guildwar happening in EQ, it was mentioned as a reminder that anyone can nominate a Guildmate for the Orders, and Sir Marco gifted us with a explanation of the process of moving from initiate to adept.

New Initiates: Jard and Paracelsus have joined our membership as initiates recently. Be sure to make them feel welcome.

Adept News: Jomayla and Aerlith have both advanced to the rank of Adept, having chosen the House of Starfire. Also, Tiexin has also formally announced his affiliation with House Valentino.

Just Rewards: At the last Guildwide, Sumakin was awarded with the Order of the Shield. A hearty round of huzzahs for this noble Defender.
